imaginfires’ bioethanol suites are quick and easy to assemble, with most of our customers having theirs built and fixed to the wall within 1-2 hours. Every suite arrives flat-packed with numbered parts, a full set of screws and fixings, and clear step-by-step instructions. Here’s how to get started:
What comes in the box?
Every suite comes with the panels that make up the surround (top, base, side, and front panels), the firebox, the glass and its bracket, the burner, all mounting brackets, and a labelled set of screws. You don’t need to go out and buy anything separately, everything is provided for you.
What tools do I need?
You’ll need a cross-head screwdriver or a power driver. You’ll also want a drill for the wall fixings, plus a spirit level and a second pair of hands to hold the panels square while you screw them together. The panels aren’t heavy, but they can be awkward to hold and screw on your own.
Do I need to fix a bioethanol suite to the wall?
Yes, this step is essential. Once you’ve built the surround, you’ll need to screw it to the wall using the mounting brackets and fixing supplied, before the firebox and glass go in. Make sure you check the fixings suit your wall type, and swap in your own wall plugs for masonry if needed.
How do I assemble a bioethanol suite?
1) Join the side panels to the front or upper/lower panels
2) Attach the top and base to form the surround
3) Fix the assembled frame to the wall using the mounting brackets
4) Fit the firebox
5) Attach the glass bracket and burner holder
6) Slot in the glass and burner tray
Can I take a bioethanol suite apart again if I move house?
Yes. Everything is held together with screws, so you can simply unscrew your suite from the wall and take it apart in reverse order. It’s worth keeping the screws grouped by letter (as shown in the manual’s screw list) if there’s a chance you may rebuild it later down the line.
